Do I need to re-pull files due to data set entry errors?

Yes.

If a file is pulled using incorrect data set information (e.g. consumer name misspelled or a mistyped social security number):

The file will need to be re-pulled as new using the correct information. Please always ensure that consumer information is accurate before you pull since data set information is transmitted to the bureaus and incorrect information can be attached to the consumer’s file information bureau level.

Re-pulling using corrected data set information incurs additional file fees.

Files pulled without selecting score option:

The file will need to be re-pulled as new, make sure to check the option for scores. Unfortunately, because files must be re-pulled new charges will apply.

If you are unable to determine if a file was pulled without scores vs. files that are not scored due to lack of credit history please ask for assistance.
